Wow... I haven't been for the Ziva being too interested Tony bit but after reading this, it's all shifting about in my head.

This is an interesting way to look at it and, yes, that does happen in real life... OMG I was Ziva. I had a thing for a close friend of mine, but he only saw me as a friend but he started dating another close friend... it was hard at times, because I loss my closeness to him because of the girlfriend who I was also friend with. I tried to get that closeness back a little too hard at times I think... and that's just what Ziva was doing at the start of the season... wow...

I love your observations!

Yeah, she's just been a tad too obsessive lately for my taste. I still don't think she's REALLY in love with him, though. No.

I've been in those types of situations much too often for my own good. Of course, I have a tendency to fall for my guy friends or just guys I can't have, because I think I'm a masochist or something. I don't know. I'm looking for material to write about, that's what I always say. :p

Thank you! :)

I did and SQUEEE! That's so awesome. :D

Know the feeling there...

Yeah, Ziva is trying to put across her friendship in the wrong way because she doesn't know how to.

I don't think he has much experience in balancing long term relationships that aren't 'secret assassain contacts' related and the NCIS family is her first long term relationship since she was young (if even then).

And glad you liked the little prezzie... :-)

Very interesting thoughts. I think you've nailed some of this stuff right on the head.

Z is very Type-A, determined to get what she wants. She's Mossad, she *knows* life is short. And I think after Roy, she really understands that on a whole new level.

While it may not be romantic love she feels for Tony, she feels love nontheless. I think it hurts her very much that Tony won't open up to her. I think she's just trying to help him and he thinks she's trying to get into his pants.

Besides, everyone knows, she's in the Director's skirt. ;)

I'm sorry, I had to ruin that nice seriousness with dirty stuff like that. I should be punished.

Thanks. :) I like to think I know the characters at least a little.

Yeah, that's a good point - the Roy thing changed her, and that's a reason I like that episode. (Even if it does make me cry.) That and Cote & Sean did the commentary on the DVDs and were super cute together. :p

Yep yep yep. That's exactly how I feel about the whole thing. I think she expects him to want to talk to her, since they're partners, and when he doesn't, she probably thinks he'll talk to McGee or Gibbs or Abby, and that makes her feel like an outsider. It's probably why she was asking him why he hated immigrants, and he probably got defensive because he thinks she's being ridiculous/has no idea what he's actually doing.

Oh, you. :p *spanks*

WOW. This has gone very far into the gutter. :p

Tee Hee....I got spanks! :D

Even though I've seen all of last season (almost, catching up now) I STILL need the damn DVD's for commentary. *pouts*

One should not speak ill of immigrants, the legal ones anyway. ;)

Interesting thoughts you showed here! I agree with you, that she has to put things in balance again or at least has to try to. And also, that she's acting like a real person, but there is the problem for me. When she first appeared, she was so different from normal, because her life was so different (I don't mean unrealistic, just not usual). And I have the feeling that there is a lack of development there. In season three she was still not a normal women at all, she was who she was before, but now we have a completly different ziva, who is just normal. The way she bonded with Tony is quite unusual for her "old" self - she hardly trusted anyone and now she is so focused on his well being... It's coplicated to explain what I mean, but I hope you get it though.=)
