Says moon sammy, can you come back?

Hee, I just listened to the most random fun song ever. It's called "Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep" and it's by this 70s pop group from Scotland called Middle of the Road. I love listening to some old cheesy pop sometimes. :D I know some of you can relate. *points to squeeegy and her Abba obsession ( Read more... )

Question about last.fm: What makes up a neighbor's radio station? Is it the stuff they've been listening to? Or do you actively have to compile a list of songs for your radio?

I think if you're listening to your neighbor's radio, it's the stuff your neighbor's are listening. Lately I've been listening to other people's neighbors, though, b/c mine kept playing all the same stuff all the time.

I've never listened to my radio or anyone else's. Now I'm curious as to what mine plays. I may be listening later.

What what what!? I grew up to Abba and the Beatles, I'm destined to love them! :D
It's not like I could do anything against it. ;)

Eva Cassidy is awesome. I'm not the biggest fan either, but I have a lot of her songs and she has a very pretty song.
I especially love her version of "Fields of Gold" and "What a wonderful World". Oohh and "Time after Time" and "True Colors" and "Yesterday" and...... well ok, looks like I do love a lot of her songs. ;)

If I ever come to your area I'll make sure to stop by no matter what. ;)

I wasn't making fun of you. Okay, so maybe I was, just a little, but hey. :p It's all in good fun.

Yeah, I heard her cover of "Fields of Gold" and liked it a lot. I was like, I'll listen to this, I love the song.

Alright, sweet. :)

Ahhh that sucks, hun. That really sucks. I can imagine how hard it must be to have your best friends live somewhere else. I have that with my friends too or had that anyway and that's no fun *hugs*

Oh I agree, Scarlet's Walk will always have a special place in my heart for me too. Also because it was the first album I bought and the album that got me hooked to her. I guess in general I'm a fan of the less weird, but pretty fantastic and unique. Or something like that ;)

Yes, but hopefully, I'll be able to live near them in the future. And I mean, I still live fairly close to my real life best friend - she's just 2 hours away from me. We just don't get a chance to see each other that often.

I love Scarlet's Walk so much... What's funny is that it seemed like every time I got a new Tori album, I decided it was my favorite album of hers, lol. Because from the choirgirl hotel was always my favorite until I got Scarlet's Walk and then I was like, nope, this one is. :D

Ooooohh, thats freaky. I haven't heard "Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep" in ages but this morning Suzie was singing it to Joey. o_O If coincidences are coincidences why do they feel so contrived?

That is weird... I had actually never heard the song before until last night. So that makes things even weirder. We better watch out for random X-Filey things happening to us now...
