mm, I like my pretty nature icons

So, we had our Christmas today. Not very exciting. I got a few things that I appreciated, like new pajamas (that I'm totally wearing right now, heck yes) and what my mom called "my interview outfit," consisting of nice gray pants and a burgundy button-down shirt. Plus other random stuff. My sister got me some mango shea butter, and it smells so ( Read more... )

I occasionally watch CSI. Mostly the reruns on Spike TV, but I sometimes catch the current seasons. I haven't really picked up on a ship yet, but I know I don't like GSR (Grissom/Sara). My favorite characters are Greg and Nick.

And Merry Christmas!

Yeah, I haven't watched it at all, so I don't know why I had a dream about it. Just from the commercials, I put people together like aesthetically, lol.

Merry Christmas to you, too. :)

I totally love wandering around in my pajamas.. lol, I just have to remember to wear actual clothes when I go outside, because really, my family seeing me in PJ's, okay. A hundred random strangers seeing me in them- not okay.

*gasp* Something we don't agree on fandom-wise!
Because I totally like Grissom and Sara together. Just don't like Gil/Cath, sorry. And Greg's cute and all, but I think he's a little too.. I don't know, too something for Sara.
Then again, a couple of my other ships have weirdish age gaps, so it doesn't make much difference to me, I guess..

Heh. I know. I've actually gone to Wal Mart in pjs before, though it was like pj pants and a sweatshirt. But still. I felt very white trash, lmao.

Hey, I said I've never watched the show before. I don't know if I would ship those pairings I said or not. I have never actually sat down and watched an episode. I'm just basing this off aesthetics. LOL, that sounds horrible, but you know, if characters look good together.

But yeah, with the age gap thing, it's like Doggett & Reyes have I'd say at least 10 years separating them and that doesn't bother me. Maybe because they were *gasp* canon? Plus, I never really noticed it, either.

I'm so not replying to that.

Way to be superficial :P
Juuuust kidding. I know you've never watched, so yeah, I guess I'll hold off on the smacking you part. At least until later.
(And wherever your mind was undoubtedly going there- kindly restrain yourself :P
*squishes*
And when are you coming back?
*dies of withdrawal* <- is that even possible?

I was thinking that, but I wasn't positive because I'd never seen anything too definitive, just what I noticed personally..
They were totally canon though, it was only a matter of time.
Hmph. I totally need DRR right now.

Grrr. Don't even think it, bitch.

I know, I know. But you gotta do that when you don't know the show. Haha, my mind was going nowhere. I actually don't remember what I typed...

I should be coming back after New Year's sometime. OMG, I can't wait to get back. I'm so freaking BORED here, but I do get quite a bit of writing done. I'm glad I'm missed. Makes me feel special. *huggles*

Yeah, and to think, there are people out there who don't think DRR is canon. I laugh. I'm like, how much more OBVIOUS could it get? Like, the couple doesn't have to get together to be canon - hello, Judging Amy. Bruce & Amy never officially got together, it was just assumed at the end that they were together. And that was awesome. I love it. :) *now wants to watch JA or write fic or read fic that I didn't write...*

Merry, merry Christmas! I'd love to have dreams about CSI. XP (And just in case you didn't know, I HEART CSI. So... Yeah.) Anyway, I'm personally okay with Grissom/Sara mainly because it's been "built up" for a couple of years and I can totally kinda see it. I don't like Grissom/Catherine for the sole reason that she needs a steady male as a FRIEND and he needs her sense sometimes. (And yes, she can be a bitch every now and then. But what female isn't sometimes?) I TOTALLY love Greg/Sara (my OTP) and... That's all I have to say on the matter.

Otherwise, merry Christmas again!

Yep yep. It's interesting to see how people take things, the different ships people have. I don't know if I'll ever get into CSI, just because of the extreme amount of stuff there (I already have a massive fandom in XF and I don't know if I need another one).

CSI...I watch CSI whenever possible - only the one based in Vegas, mind you, because I really like Grissom. I don't know what it is about him, but he has the certain something something...

Grissom/Sara - years of angst, literally. I got into GSR reading fanfiction about it and somehow got addicted. Their a bit like the other pairing I ship - House/Cameron. Reminds me of those relationships in Bronte&Austen novels - oh, the drama! Oh, the complication! But I love every minute of it :-)

Cool. I really do love the angst when it comes to shows. Seriously. Why X-Files is such a huge fave of mine. And angst is one of my fave fic genres. Totally.

I can understand you want some less-pracitcal stuff, because that's always nice to have and get. But I'm glad to hear that you can still appreciate what you got and yay for a new pyjama! I love new pyjama's and in general I love them, lol, they can be so comfy :D

Oh, totally. I'm like, books and movies would be nice...And books aren't COMPLETELY non-practical for me. I'm a writer, and everything I read inspires me in some way or another. :) And pj's, I was happy. :)
