I feel like an ass....

I'm totally the reason for this post right here.

But at the same time...where the fuck else am I supposed to put my fic? That's the only JA comm on LJ that's even remotely active (and it wouldn't be if I weren't posting things there).

Gah. *is annoyed*

I wonder if any other comms feel that way about me posting my fics

Ahhh, well some people just don't care about fanfiction, but I know other people do. And that's the same in that comm, so just try to ignore these people somehow. The place is for fanfics as well. So yeah, then they should post other stuff if they'd like more other stuff as well.

Yeah, I think it pissed me off more than anything else. I was like, okay, you want this comm to be active and have things other than fic? Then freaking post something once in awhile! And I felt hurt, too, because it's like, I put all this time into writing this stuff, and I link it so if people want to read it, they can, and then someone makes a comment like that that's like, ugh, stop posting here. But I know, preaching to the choir. :)

I hate to be rude, but that's just stupid. IF they don't want to read fanfic, they don't have to. It's not as if somebody's forcing them to at gunpoint.
The whole point of a fan comm is to get together and be fans, including fanfic.

Well, and the thing that bothers me the most about it is that the community is hardly active at all. If it weren't for me, there probably wouldn't be any posts at all. So I won't be cross-posting any fics there anymore, simply because if people are going to be that bitchy about it...I might make a note that if people DO want to read my fic, to friend my fanfic journal. I was hurt. I felt like I was being personally attacked.

It really pisses me off too, because you're the only person who ever posts there with any regularity and whoever that person was was being a real jerk about it.

Yeah, I know. I was like, whoa, way to bash me. Thanks. I appreciate that. I know it probably wasn't meant to be like that, but they were probably like, where's the discussion? and it's like, why aren't you posting if you want to talk about the show? I don't have to be the only one posting. Geez.
