Road Trippin'

B, Sophie, and I recently went on a little road trip to the Great White North. We spent about a total of five days altogether in the car driving there and back. Thanks for sharing all your research! How would you store bananas for travel? Just taking one to work with me ends in a bruised piece of fruit. I've read the cookie sheet idea before, but I wonder if it would get too hot and cause trouble.

Strangely one of the things my dd finds most fascinating in the car is having a baby wipe to play/clean with. She might just be odd though...

Good question about the bananas. Sophie dropped them on the way to the car, so they were the first snack we had. ;)

I think if we did a cookie sheet, I'd have to make sure it was a smaller one, and was new, or at least never been used for baking before. I don't know how hot it would get, really. I was probably overly concerned about the crayons, but I wanted to be able to leave them in the car while we were at the lake house since there was plenty of other stuff to do. Nothing was too hot to the touch (or even warm, for that matter).

LOL about the wipe. Sophie loves to clean, but usually that's sweeping and dusting. ;)

Hi. :)

Unfortunately, I don't write here much anymore, but feel free to add me. I'm trying to find the time to post a million things but time likes to slip away from me.

I think it's really more my poor memory than my lack of time management. That, and an extreme tendency to be easily distracted.

I see I write almost as often as you do... ;)
