Books: After reading "The Sleeping Beauty Proposal" (and then writing this review of it in the Times Argus), I decided to read all of Sarah Strohmeyer’s books. She’s a local author who writes chick lit. I’ve never read chick lit before, but decided to make an exception since she’s local, (and a really good interview). I remember when we'd get a schedule and a form and you had to get the form filled out and stamped before the REAL LIVE PERSON would register you for the class and WOE if the class was full because you could only have backups in the extra slots on the form and if you ran out before you were done for the next semester then WOE you had to get another form and trek BACK to the advisor for another stamp and back to the basement and pray again...

I remember when we got phone registration - it was the awesome. :) Instantly know if a class was full or not, your advisor lifted the hold on your account so you could play around all you needed to...

These kids with their fancy internets and graphical interfaces... ;)

And I don't EVEN want to try and imagine that bill. Ugh. Hopefully we'll cushion the load with Riley's 529 account over the years... or she'll be a (evil) genius and skip college or something...

I understand exactly how you feel about the spoilers. I want to go in a cave. I just slogged my way through most of OotP -- I read the final, important chapters last night. I have the final sadness of HBP and might just read that on the plane coming up.
Good luck with the doc meetings -- growing older is a bitch. I just got notice that due to my age, by short term disability premium doubled.

You stopped swimming? I've never heard there was a relationship between swimming and bone loss.

Yeah, getting older sucks!

Swimming is not a weight-bearing exercise. I've switched to walking/jogging, and lifting weights.
