P.S.: Thought about it some more, especially the (forced?) resignation. Given that after the hurricane, Norrington is still "closer" to honourable than desperate, maybe he resigned because he thought *himself* a failure? It would be Sparrow´s "fault" he has to feel this way, and I could see him hate the pirate for that. Besides, if Norrington really thought he himself had not part in his downfall whatsoever, why does he look for "redemption"?
Oh, of course he blames himself. If he didn't he wouldn't be in nearly as bad a state. I also think he isn't entirely over Elizabeth--I very much doubt he's still in love with her, but he's definitely still bitter--and blames himself for having tried (however obliquely) to force her into marriage, while at the same time being highly annoyed with her for playing him the way she did.
HAHA. That girl was a dumbass. I was getting extremely pissed off at her. I mean, if she had SHUT UP and not talked through the whole movie then maybe she would understand the parts she missed while doing said talking and wouldn't have to continue to talk. And when a chest comes up on screen that looks like a chest, and has been identified by most of the characters as a chest... why would one feel the need to ask, "Is that a chest?!" BOBS she deserved a smacking. I wonder if she could even hear us telling them to be quiet over her loud annoying talk.
I thought you might find this ironic. Due to IE actually dissappearing from the face of my computer and the microsoft website being a maze of almost byzantine proportions, I just downloaded firefox. Laugh it up, fuzzball.
With some of the older versions you can't, but that shouldn't be a problem for you. You should be able to right-click on the tab bar to the right of any tabs you've already got and click on "New Tab" or something to that effect.
