Ohhhhh. I like this version of it! I mean, kind of a grass is greener kind of thing. Psychological horror at its best. :-) I like that he was involved in some way. Like he wanted a powerful woman but chose a decoration than the real truth?

EDA: I'm not quite sure where this would go? I mean, there is a Bible category for goodness sakes but hmm...literature, if there is a category.

I'm glad you liked it! I was afraid that it was actually completely nonsensical and junk, because I wrote it right before bed Thursday night...

My interpretation was that he accidentally...tamed her, I suppose, by trying to help her escape. I dunno. I thought that, in the original, he was well-meaning, and just kind of failed at helping her out. :)

The Yellow Wall-Paper is a short story, and FFN doesn't have a category for that. Maybe I'll just stick it in with books?

I agree with both interpretations! :-) In the original, I thought he was well-meaning, it just went...a little south there. But yes.
