I like the fact that Draco is enamoured of Hermione yet acknowledges her "quirks and imperfections". Makes me wish for a happy ending...

It makes me wish for it too... :) I've never written a Draco/Hermione before as I've never thought it as particularly appealing, but now I can see why it's such a popular non-canon pairing. There's plenty of angst to be had!

It happens to me all the time. I write a drabble just for the sake of a challenge, then the pairing won't let me go, and keeps popping back in my writing.
