That’s why she sits in corners of crowd-filled churches, watching the image she has always dreamed about; fingers linked with ice blond locks, a grey gaze meant only for her. Except she doesn’t stand - she sits in shadows watching that not-quite-her steal him away.
The truth of the matter is Draco Malfoy was never hers, and yet he’s killing her just the same.
It comes quickly with just two little words, unnoticed against resounding applause.
