Blushing, the waitress asked, “Have you dined with us before?”
“He proposed to me here.” The pale blond waved long fingers at his escort.
“How romantic!”
A lazy smile. “I slapped him and said no.”
“I’m trying my luck again this year,” Mr Potter whispered conspirationally.
“I hope you didn’t ruin the wine with Amortentia, Potter.”
“It’s the chocolates this year,” he replied.
A delicate snort.
“And the Potter heirloom ring.”
Blink. “You’re learning, Potter.”
