On Sunday I went to the Renaissance Festival in Sterling, NY. This was my 3rd time to Sterling, though I have been to the Ohio Ren Fest multiple times. And it's always SO much fun!

This year I dressed up- I had my mom make me a costume, and it was perfect! Observe:

Thanks dear. I love it too- I'm very happy with how it turned out. My mom made it- and she thought of the trim- the lace on the plaid skirt and the gold braid on the blue one.. and it really pulls it together.

And I feel weird NOT dressing up for the Ren. Fest- I've always worn something costume-ish, except for the first time I went. But I'm into theatre and fantasy books and all that jazz so it just feels natural.
