I'm on chapter... gah... 6? The one where her suspicions are peaked!!!1!! and I'm making an effort. It's still the beginning, so I'm keeping an open mind. Gah, but the dialogue. it burns. IT BUUUUURNS.
I would have said that all the vamp family has the excuse of being born centuries earlier and therefore often slip into antiquated speech patterns they grew up learning, but everyone of them except Carlisle were born in the early 20th century as presumably middle/low class origin, so the point is moot.
LOL Bella is retarded but I don't mind Edward even though he's rather moody. I keep comparing him to the Phantom of the Opera. (SHOULD I DO AN IMPRESSION IN BOOK CLUB?!?!)
I did NOT need that image of angstyvampire!Tamaki. My poor spleen is ruptured from the lol.
I don't like either of them much. Bella is just Bella, and the less said about her the better (until the meeting when we rip her a new asshole, ahahaha), and Edward is waaaaaaay too angst-ridden and smug for me.
I keep picturing Cedric Diggory doing all this smirky business, and it is very amusing. Oh yes indeed.
I keep laughing out loud uncontrollably at some of the stuff that they say. Oh man. it is too much for my poor poor brain. Ahahaha.
There is the first chapter of Twilight written from Edward's perspective on Meyer's official site. He uses the phrase "doomed humans" in complete seriousness. WTFWTF HAHAHAHAHA.

But I finished it and liked it. Bella got on my nerves and the whirlwind romance was silly, but I still thought it was cute.
Bella: I wanna be like you-oo-oo, walk like you, talk like you, toooooo!
Edward: DENIED *sparkle*
Bella: :(
Me: LOL!
WHAT HAS COME OVER ME
