This was really refreshing. It is very rare that I find a Alex/Mere friendship piece, and a well written one at that. And Alex's resolution seems so in character, as well as his belief in breaking them. Great work.

Alex/Meredith is perhaps my favorite pairing to write, even though it's platonic. Hence why I have done several more than I probably should. I'm glad you found that he was in character, I seem to be more comfortable with his character lately.
