Well don't be. This was a good story and as depressing as it was, very realistic. I can respect to sad-but-true stuff and even like it. It's just that I don't want to read it ALL the time. Post something semi-fluffy but not gag-worthy next!

Yeah, that's just not going to happen. I've got depressing Jate, and then depressing and broken Izzie. Happy is not in the near future.

I am so thrilled that you liked it! I was really worried about that. I thought to include the little Alex/Izzie mention because you also asked for something for them and that story just isn't finished yet. Lucky for me it fit in there pretty easily.

I have to say, non-pairing fics? Are always love. And this is just gorgeous. It's sad but realistic and I don't know, I don't really think it's depressing. It's just life, and that's just the way things happen, and you captured it beautifully.

Yes, there need to be more non-pairing fics out there. Some people thought it was depressing (over on FF.net) so hence the warning. But yeah, it is life and things don't stay the same forever and that was what I was aiming for.
