Ugh, I cannot believe you were talking on Twitter about this like you weren't going to end up with something this achingly perfect and beautiful. BECAUSE: SHOCKER, IT'S PHENOMENAL. Everything about this hits the right spot and neither of them even change that much to be believably together and jogging buddies and as;ldkfjad;fk perfect. I really love the full circle with Penny diving head first into everything with no hesitation and no regrets. It's so subtle but in character and powerfully romantic. I JUST ADORE THIS. SO, SO MUCH.

EDIT: AND SRSLY THOUGH. YOU HAD ME AT THE TITLE. WOLF PARADE IS THE SHIT.

Maybe my tweets were all some sort of secret plan to set the expectations as low as possible and therefore make it near impossible to disappoint. LOL. No, really, I had no idea where I was going with this. I just get lucky occassionally.

NGL, I wanted jogging buddies after the Cruciferous Vegetable ep. I just didn't think I'd be the one writing it but when the prompt is 'physical fitness' where else is there to go but here? Haha.

Wolf Parade owns me. For serious. And that song is probably in my top five songs by them so I think I subconsciously wrote the fic to complement the title because i've wanted to use it forever.

In sum: thank you so so much for the awesome words and just being awesome in general. I owe you words of praise on your last fic I'm sure, I just wanted to have something to look forward to when I got done with this monster, so, um, that's on my to do list.

I'm glad you enjoyed this hun!

So, this was awesome. Really really awesome. You set the mood so beautifully, and the slow-burn pacing is perfect. I don't know if you're a runner or not, but all the running stuff (shoes, routes, the difference between running alone and running with someone) rings really true.

Also this line so perfectly sums up what I love so much about the two of them:
He’s a conundrum, but if he’s going to keep bending then she’s going to keep on pushing.

Also also, I really want to go hiking in Joshua Tree National Park now.

Two fun facts:

1) I am not a runner. Seriously, not a day in my life, unless you count the ghost of PE classes past. I walk like 3-5 miles with my dog pretty routinely when it's not frigid out so it's not completely out of my realm of experience but it might as well be.

2) I've never been to Joshua Tree, but there are roadrunners and coyotes and all of that stuff about the camps and hiking trails is pretty factual, considering how much time I spend on Google, plus it looks like this so you'd have to be dumb and blind not to want to go, IMO.

Now that I've gone all TMI on you I want to thank you so much for reading and leaving such a nice review. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Ack. That was so, so beautiful and moving. I want to say something more but it would just be superlatives on repeat, so. Love it.

This was fantastic. Both Penny and Sheldon were wonderfully in character; the story was well paced, and I got a real sense of enjoyment from reading this.

So, this was ridiculously fantastic. I love anytime we get to see inside of Sheldon, and that moment in the tent, when he talks about his father and his uncle, that was just *perfect*. The entire thing was just perfect. I want to go running, now, and I don't even like running, but that slow build, and those descriptions, and the END! Ohh, the end ♥

I love this. You are awesome.

Thank you so much! That conversation in the tent was pretty much the first thing I came up with when I started writing, so I'm glad to hear that it played well and that you enjoyed this!
