You know, I didn't even know that I wanted a fic with Viper in it until you wrote it. It's excellent, but of course, the last two lines allude to something or nothing, to this maybe that is just perfect and just within reach. You managed to do all the relationship justice, be it Mer/Der, so broken because of his fear, be it Alex/Mer, who might or might not be more than friends, be it Alex/April or Lexie/Mark, and ultimately even to Meredith and Cristina, lost to each other because the shooting was just too much. In my mind, Cristina went to see Burke and stayed there, but that's just me. Anyway, I'm rambling and I only do that when I really like something, so considers this really liked.
