Works *very* well for me. And this is exactly the level of ship I want them at right now.

I've never been a fan of couples who are together for what they've been through together (the best example I can think of right now is Ron and Hermione...sorry if they're a diehard of yours), but with these two it just *fits*.

Out of everyone on the show, they know each other best. They've seen each other's best and worst (and I'm sure they have their own L-VAD stories and bomb threat stories and April had to play Awkward Referee after Jackson and Reed had that One Drunken Night) and I just really want them to find peace with each other.

Yeah, I thought about going a bit further but everything I did just felt forced. So, they're in limbo here.

I can understand your reservations (although, really, that reference is lost on me -- not a HP fan) with regards to those sorts of ships; sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I can see where it would work here. And I like you're little Awkward Referee idea; I can totally see that, lol.

this was amazing, and beautiful! You should write Jackson more; for some reason, there was a feeling of understanding or something. Jackson I always find very hard to write, but you seem to know what to do.

Oh, I find him incredibly hard to write. I spent a good amount of time second guessing myself here, believe me. I'm taking it as a great big compliment that it didn't seem that way though, lol.
