I liked the pairing, I could see it happening. If there was something canon in here post Season 4 I would not recognise it as I have yet to watch Season 5 or 6.
Fave bits:
They are who they always were, poster children for the emotionally stunted, the lost causes - just more world weary. -- I really like this line because I do think it whenever I watch those two on the show... they are so messed up! And not in a George O'Malley or even Izzie Stevens kind of way. In an especially damaged way. Like Meredith.
