I have figured out your secret. It's taken me a long but I think I've finally figured it out. You're actually a writer of the show, aren't you? The way you write Penny and Sheldon is so fucking spot on. Their actions and mannerisms and god damn, the dialogue - IT'S PERFECT! I... I am so happy that you wrote this and I'm flattered that this was sort of for me and can I just say I'm so happy that I nagged you for this? This was so amazing and I wish the episode had done SOMETHING like this because it was begging for this. My comment is spastic and I'.m sorry but thank you, thank you, thank you. I have been kind of depressed lately and this just put me in the best mood. THANK YOU! *HUG*

LOL, no, I'm not, but I am so very flattered that you even said it (jokingly of course, but still). I'm not so sure I want to take credit for parts of Season 3 anyways, if you know what I'm saying ;)

This? Totally for you. I wouldn't have written it otherwise (aka, I wouldn't have FOUGHT with it to just get written; I stopped and started way too much with this).

And just FYI, I take flist prompts on request. Usually it's by twitter but also by message on here, so if there's ever something you have a hankering for it can't hurt to shoot me a message :)

I'm SO freaking glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing and for getting me to write these two again!

Very true... S3 has kind of been an inconsistent wreck... I was watching S1 DVDs a few days ago and my god, it was perfect. The show is still funny but lately, there seems to be more weak episodes than funny, great ones.

Oh yeah, it's still funny for sure, there's just some significant flaws that need to be worked out to achieve the glory that was S1/S2. But every show has a slump somewhere.

Agreed on the "spot on" comment! Sheldon and Penny are fantastic here. :)

It would be really nice of TPTB allowed their characters a little more self-awareness like this, but I feel that may not happen because it is first and foremost a comedy. Fics like this one make up for it though!!! :D

It is a comedy and that's something that I've...accepted. They go for the cheap joke sometimes, when maybe they shouldn't, and that's okay. We have fic. They still gave us these wonderful characters with which to play with.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Oh wow. I remember how great post-ep fic you wrote for The Electric Canopener Fluctuation, and I secretly hoped that maybe you would be inspired to write something for this episode. I like this. So much. It really puts into words a lot of...not really issues, but just things I wanted to see brought to light between Sheldon and Penny. You have it all here.

I love that this is slightly angsty, slightly shippy, but their frienship with bits of attraction showing through...you write it in a way that's believable. I'm so frustrated that I can't articulate exactly how I feel about this story, but my brain has not been cooperating this week.

So. Thanks for this. :)

Aw, I can't believe you remember that (mostly because I barely remember it; I wrote it in a single night, very late, and thus it's nothing but a blur for me).

I think, for the most part, I write post-eps to deal with issues I have within an episode, or perhaps issues others had. From what I saw, there wasn't a lot of positive reactions to this episode. So I took the issues I had and tried to reconcile them to a point. Only problem with post-ep is that it's hard to jump right into the ship in something so short -- Sheldon and Penny weren't exactly going to jump into bed, you know? So friendship with attraction is the next best thing, like you said.

I'm so glad you liked this! Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

I was like that with my fic "Lucky's Requiem." I was so emotional and distraught, I just wrote it to deal with my feelings and I barely remembered it until I was about to update my Fic Masterlist.

But I do really like stories where you get to see the first realization that there's something there between them. Those are the most interesting to me. :)

Oh, this was just wonderful.

I love the characterizations here, and the situation, and the sweetness.

Thanks for brightening my evening. ♥
