I have to be honest, I absolutely love this and now feel like mine is inadequate. I love you.

I'm sure it is far from being inadequate. And thank you -- I'm ever so glad that you enjoyed :)

This was gorgeous. I loved the pace of this. And the characterizations. And how much you showed in the way of portraying relationships without a lot of dialogue.

Before all of that, he hadn’t thought of her in months. Maybe longer.

(The problem with parallel lines is they never quite cross.)

-

He does not spend all his days thinking about Stella, after Melbourne.

(He spends some of his nights that way, though.)
Love the juxtaposition of his two women here.

Leckie watches him walk from one end of the room, right past him, towards the other, without a word, and he resigns himself to the other man’s anger.

Seconds later there’s a hand along the line of his jaw and lips against his own and he resigns himself to something else.
Gaaaaah. *EXPLODES*
Holy crap those two are intense. I didn't even know I wanted these two together but now I can't stop thinking about the pair of them.

I'm a dialogue person by nature, so this was a huge departure from that for me. I'm so relieved that it worked, at least to some degree.

I'll admit, pairing him with Basilone was something I would've never thought of if I hadn't been prompted (which is interesting because I've been slashing him with just about everyone else in my head) but it certainly has some merit when you look at the intensity that would be there for sure.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Okay so definitely an interesting pairing, but you did such an amazing job with this that it actually worked. I really love the tone and the language of this whole thing, it fits so perfectly with the show and it's obvious that you did your homework. I can't wait to read more of this fandom from you! :)

Oh, I most certainly did my homework *groan*

I was secretly way nervous when you read this because, well, your opinion means TONS to me and I kind of...half-assed the ending. So hearing good things about it from you pretty much makes my day :)

There will be more in this fandom, for sure.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing hun!
