Holy fuck. Okay...so, I'm just gonna start at the beginning because I don't know where else to start. I'm all over the place. I'm going to read this 18 more times at least.

It’s less of a conscious choice and more of a time management problem. She doesn’t have time to cheat. Certainly not the energy.

This is so Cristina through and through.

“Does he do this?” He murmurs into her ear, soft tones that are cut with something angry, something definitely jealous, and she won’t give him any satisfaction. She won’t give him anything about her life with Owen. When she doesn’t answer, he twists his fingers just right and pulls out too quick, the loss of sensation making her moan despite her best intentions. “Does he know what you like?”

Dude, I just lost my shit at this. The smut is so incredibly hot but this most definitely made the smut for me. Just Burke being all....Burke. I don't know, it's just so fucking good. SO GOOD.

3) She comes around Burke’s fingers, her eyes focused on Owen’s for half a second before the close and her head

I'm feeling rather protective of Cristina right now and hating the situation canon has put her in so I like that you are willing to go places other people might not be willing to (and yes, I am also referring to your other recent Cristina fic) for the sake of really exploring her character. Your fics are always true to who these characters are, and not slave to the ships they are in. I dig that. (And yes, I did actually say dig. I may or may not be channeling the 70s today;).)

I've never been someone afraid to go where canon won't. I don't confine myself to specific ships either, so saying that's something you actually like is so very encouraging. Sometimes I just feel like I'm a crazy person or something -- reading a whole different book than other people are. (And I say dig all the time, fyi, so you're not alone in that)

I don't even really like any of these characters but I couldn't keep myself from reading this because you write the best characterizations of everyone on this show so I read it and HOLY CRAP! That was so fucking hot and personally, I loved that Cristina did that with Burke and Owen walked in. It should be exactly like this :)
