love it, there should be some more alex/mer out there.
i love the little friendship they've got going on in the show, the whole "want me to kick his/her ass" scene was so cute, and the stuff about their parents.
but this version, hot as, they'd be a good couple, Meredith might pretend she's all 'whole and healed' but she's always gonna be as dark and twisty as Alex (Y)

Believe me when I say I'm forever trying to rectify the lack of this pairing. I love their friendship, always have, and so I can play it both ways: platonic and, well, not so platonic. And, for the record, I enjoy dark and twisty Meredith way more than whole and healed.

YAYYY! I seem to be filled with those today. I liked this. I've always kind of supported the Alex/Meredith connection in a silent, sitting-in-the-corner-eating-my-hair sort of way.

Officially in love with you, just because of that.
I love Alex's character so much because he seems the type who could mesh with anyone so long as they don't do anything to piss him off. I loved the Mer/Alex interaction of the episode and that little scene you were commenting with earlier (haha, the future shower scene).
It makes sense. Meredith typically ruins her own relationships when she begins to doubt herself. She (like many others) sabotages herself, but at least it's with Karev and in the comfort of her own house, rather than an on-call room.

Thank you! I've always thought of both Meredith and Alex as the type to second-guess, to self-destruct and sabotage themselves and perhaps that's why I've always shipped them.
