Oh, this is so wonderful. I love the way you explore their commonalities and they way Meredith is able to understand exactly what Lexie is going through and what she needs. I adore this line: She loves her sister, in a different way than maybe Lexie’s been searching for, but the sentiment is still there. Loves, cares, some days even needs. She is safe and Lexie needs safe, needs someone who isn’t going to bruise or bury her.
