I was looking for a story to help making sense of that freaky promo for 6x14 (I only just dicovered), and there it is! Thank you for broadening my horizon on Lexie angst.

lol, this was a reaction to that promo for sure (however I quite like that promo so it was really just an expansion I guess). I'm glad you liked this! Thank you for reading and reviewing!

This just once again solidifies how much I love Alex Karev, and how much I like Alex/Lexie together, despite how unhealthy their relationship might be.

Alex does not curl his arms around her then. He doesn’t pull her to him and press kisses to her forehead and whisper things that romance novelists and Hallmark movies might consider sweet nothings. What he does do is push at the jacket she’s still wearing until he gets it off her shoulders, tossing it somewhere to the right of the bed, and pulls the covers up higher. It’s his nonverbal way of telling her she can stay and it’s all she’s going to get from him in the way of comfort. He neither gives nor takes and it feels strangely like what she needs.

This is so very much in character - I really feel in a way, since Izzie left, that Alex has regressed slightly to his old ways and yet, at the same time there's this sort of NEW Alex there as well. Anyway, I'm not being that articulate but you captured him perfectly.

I am, apparently, a fan of unhealthy relationships. IDK? I am definitely a fan of Alex.

Alex is different. He regressed a little, yes, but it feels like he hit an interesting middle ground. I like the middle ground. To be honest? It feels a lot more like him than anything I've seen in a season or two.

I'm glad you liked this hun! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Ok, I haven't seen the latest episode yet but this fic makes me want these two kids to get back together. Mark has been judgemental and mean to Lexie lately and I think these two would be good together.

Awesome work as always!

Well, this is me reading between the lines of last episode so don't expect to find any goldmines of them or anything. I'm just...delusional and analytical or something lol. But I do think I want them back together. A lot.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

OH IS THIS AWESOME.

When the episode aired, I picked up on the arm thing, and there was definitely an internal victory dance. I'm so glad someone capitalized on it in fic!!!

This definitely struck me the most:

There’s safety in the fact that they’ve already been here, that they already know this won’t work. There’s safety in lowered expectations and skin sliding against skin.

Because it's so totally true. They DO work, in a way that totally doesn't work, if that makes sense. This was so true to character and understated and awesomely written. I loved it.

I so thought I was the only one who saw it. At least your victory dance wasn't external and screamed at the tv like mine was (j/k...mostly).

And yes, that totally makes sense.

I'm glad you liked this hun! Thanks for reading and reviewing!
