Okay, so this story is absolutely amazing. I wish this was canon. This is how the L/P relationship SHOULD end. No one is a bad guy, it's just that they're not meant to be. And the glimmer of S/P! *sigh* Just perfect!

I like this. It feels like something real, slightly awkward and not all neatly tied up. We can only hope that the writers of the show get some perspective, too, because I think you nailed exactly why L/P does not and will never work.

Absolutely utterly perfect. This is what I want to see in the show - a slow progression towards SP and LP back to being friends... because they're so good as friends! I loved this, and the non-chronological way you told the story. Really well done.

I was going to go immediately into the S/P with this, but then I decided that with only two weeks of time to play with it wouldn't be realistic. These things have to happen slowly after all. So I figured hinting at them and then focusing on the interaction between the three of them worked better.

I cannot get enough of your BBT stories and have lost count of how many times I have read some of them. This one was just brilliant and I do hope that Penny and Leonard end like this - because I really do not see them lasting - but I hope they just break off like this, with that level of friendship between them, both knowing that it would not have worked out between them. And of course, your Penny/Sheldon is just spot-on, especially your Sheldon. You just write him perfectly. Thank you so much for this!
