Oh, this was terrific! I love outside POVs! I love that Sheldon and Penny didn't really know what to say because they seemed kind of shocked/confused at what happened, too! The whole scene was very authentic and easy to picture happening. I love how you wrote Leonard. Just the right amount of good and bad, hopefulness and futility. Awesome!

I just realised how long I've had this tab up, and I was like "And I haven't read that yet?!??! What the hell is wrong with me?" haha.

Aw, I loved it. That last line is perfection. Seriously.

Leonard unpacks his clothes, throws the dirty ones in a bag to be washed tomorrow, and peels the ‘hello, my name is’ sticker[...] that detail is lovely. I'm a sucker for injected moments of realism, and this is one that I adore. ^_^ There's something pathetic about that image. And everything about this situation is pathetic, so it makes a nice addition, Leonard the guy who never gets the girl being upstaged by the guy who doesn't even notice the girl. Sad. Seriously. And I always wonder how he would react to finding out about them whenever I read fic, if it was anything like this, I'd be ecstatic.

Lovely characterisation. You should not be worried about your Leonard, it's fantastic.
