O. M. G.

This was awesome. You did a phenomenal job writing Leonard's POV.

“Oh my god,” Penny exclaims, her patience hitting its limit. “Fine. Sheldon and I made out.”

I think I love this statement a little too much. You did a great building up the tension in this moment, and I was wondering if this story would go there or just leave Leonard wondering. But I like that you got it out, Sheldon's reaction, Leonard's perception of Sheldon's reaction--or lack thereof--and then Penny facing up to it. This is now one of my favorite Leonard-finds-out fics. :)

I was going to just leave him wondering, because, well, I wasn't quite sure how to write it. But I figured no guts, no glory, and went there.

I'm very glad that worked for you and that you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

WOW!

The way you wrote Leonard's POV was perfect. You have captured the essence of his character so well.

I could picture the events of this story unfold in my mind as I read it.

"He doesn’t want to kick her out or storm out or yell. He’s not that guy, never has been, and never will be. He’s used to not getting the girl; it’s just not usually a friend of his that ends up with her."

I felt for him so much after reading this part, it was so well written.

Sheldon and Penny were totally in character especially the struggle to pretend everything was normal.

I cannot wait to read more from you!

Thank you! I've been very nervous about even the concept of writing Leonard. For me, he's harder to write than Sheldon -- go figure. So it's nice to hear that you not only enjoyed the way I wrote him, but that you also sort of sympathized with him as well.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

I really enjoyed this - I thought everyone acted very in character all the way through. I thought the last few lines were really bittersweet - and how I think Leonard will eventually react to Sheldon and Penny getting together.

I hope Leonard is the good guy and doesn't do the whole cliched storming out in a fit of rage bullshit. It's very much not him.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Oh, this is lovely. It's nice to see Leonard written so sympathetically in an S/P story -- you really ache for him, and admire his courage in taking it decently and resolving to move on. The prose is lovely, too. I really like this.

I like Leonard, a lot. I just don't ship him with Penny. And I hate stories that villianize the third party to a triangle -- it's unneccesary IMO, and I wanted to go against type.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!
