This is a really interesting piece.

In the end they get as far as the bedroom, behind the locked door of Sam’s house, and he tries to believe that this all something more than a means to an end with her hips grinding into his and her nails digging raw half-moon marks into his skin.

Very nice. I like the complexity of the relationships and how things play out against the extremes of the seasons.

Thank you! I'm very glad you thought so! I definitely wanted to use the seasons to show the phases of their relationship and I'm glad that worked for you :)

Oh, poor Sammy T. This is fantastic. I love that last line! Very apt. This whole thing just fits. This is the way I see them on (their) earth now.

And okay, the scene outside the bar with Sam and Tyrol was a kind of hot for a moment there. Very aggressive.

I love the way you used the prompt and the changing of the seasons, really unique and really fitting. It is kind of a metaphor for Ellen too, summer and winter, hot and cold. I love how she is completely the seductress here, and then she acts innocent and blameless. That is so Ellen. And this is so perfect!

Yeah, I wrote the Sam/Tyrol right after reading your fic. So...that kind of did funny things to my brain.

I should've, in retrospect, used summer for Jawyercita or something, but I had to pick the challenging one, lol. I think I've kind of always wanted to expand upon that one fic I did with the water, and that's how this happened.

I'm so thrilled that you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

I should've, in retrospect, used summer for Jawyercita or something → You could still... do that... I wouldn't complain.

No, cause I have a better prompt I'm using for that.
