GOD! This was beautiful.

Really really great stuff.

I love the non-linear story-telling. The ending is stunning- totally perfect. Ironic, funny in a way that you shouldn't be laughing at.

Aw thanks! I intended for it to be a little more organized originally -- it just didn't quite happen that way. The ending is pure irony though. How things change as the years go by, and how we all change.

Thank you for the warning. I never read fics that don't end in a happily ever after MerDer. But I love your writing so I read it. So now I need to go find a sappy fic thats a happy MerDer fic. It was a wonderfully written fic however you know my heart just breaks a little this is my ship. Maybe you can write me a little happy MerDer one shot? When you get some time? Hee Hee

Yeah, I figured if I didn't warn I'd get flamed. You know I avoid happy endings generally, aside from drabbles. Destroying ships, those that are and aren't my own, seems to be my speciality.

Why'd you have to go and let this die? (Sorry, quoting from the song I'm listening to a review is probably a bad practice.) In short, this is awesome. And I love you for being daring. More people should write fic like this.
