Also, I have never seen a single episode of Lost so... didn't even consider it... *reminds self that not everyone ONLY watches Grey's Anatomy and that characters named Richard and Alex are not isolated events!*

That was incredible. This ship can't be anything but angst, but I love the sweetness that underlies this fic. The last line is perfect, but I think my favorite is the piece about firsts.

Late to the game here, but I really loved this look into a possible future for this pair. Poor Alex is miserable and screwed up in all the ways she should be, and Richard is spot-on - caring about her in his way, for now. Bleak and beautiful.
