I understand where Cristina stands in this situation as well as Meredith. I've been on both ends. It's hard, trying to be best friends with your past best friend and the one that you have now. :)

I seriously can't remember if I've ever read a purely friendship fiction but this was great. I love Meredith and Cristina. Their friendship is the one of the first things I started to love on Grey's. Great story! I hope they will get through this.

Generally, I write friendship fics with them quite regularly. Sometimes femslash, but that's less so lately. There is quite a lack of them though, from what I've seen, which is sad since I love their dynamic on the show.
