It breaks my heart too... really. These two have both been through hell and back but all the while they have each other...

it's incredible to see how much alex has grown through the last 3 seasons and the transformation from a reckless boy to such a complex man. I just love it.

And he's trying so hard, for her.

How much Alex has grown up really hit me in the past few episodes. Three years ago he would've walked. Now that doesn't seem likely unless she tells him to. It almost gives me hope for them.
