Oh Obama campaign, how I love when you call me looking for my mother and then thinking I'm her, proceed to talk to me for five minutes about how crucial Virginia is and how Obama represents change, despite the best of my abilities to cut in, and then it dawns on you how much time you just wasted when I tell you my mother was planning on voting for ( Read more... )

People have been calling my house non-stop too. They've even been knocking on my door. Thankfully it's tomorrow, and all of that will stop. :P

I'm from NH, so my parents have been getting all sorts of calls lately. Although these last 2 elections (well I guess last 4 including primaries) where I've been able to vote I've been in Massachusetts, so I get nothing because no one doubts which way MA is gonna go. ;)

OMG that happens to you too? Everytime I answer the phone people think I'm my mother, even if I tell them my name when I pick up the phone... *headdesk* *hugs*

All I keep getting is McCain calls constantly. However I guess I've learned a thing the last go around. I don't even listen I just hang up. I don't have the time to listen to them go on and on. Frankly I'm Obama all the way, I don't even keep up with all the election nonsense. For me I just know who to vote for I'm not even paying attention to all the flyers in my mail box or phone calls! So glad once tomorrow is over!

I get mistaken for my Mom on the phone all the time.

We haven't been called a lot. I used to get a bunch of calls from the Democratic Party early in the election (I say I because everyone else in this house is a Republican) but if we've been getting calls lately I've missed them.

Oh, but we have got tons of shit in the mail about local propositions! :/ Some group of assholes sure spent a lot of money and killed a lot of trees because they think it's important we define marriage as being between a man and a woman in our State's constitution. >:( It got voted down last time around so they seem to have tripled their efforts. Jerks.
