!!! So I'm logging in to LJ thinking I'm going to look for a nice R-rated fic for the fb challenge and find Lost fic from you (yea!), and it's even appropriately categorized. So first, allow me to thank you for dropping a small gift in my lap. ;)

I love how they don't speak throughout. Communication's a problem? Hey, no problem - don't talk. Am also loving the echo, intentional or not, back to Kate telling Sawyer, "don't talk," when she jumps him in Catch-22. *is total sucker for echoes*

The paranoid part of him ... wonders if maybe it had nothing to do with Aaron, that it had something to do with keeping names, people, straight
Oh, wow. That stopped me dead in my tracks. Marvelous.

Hee, glad I could be of help ;)

That is both a throwback to Catch-22, because I like comparison's with that damn triangle, but also because there is no way for them to argue (and nothing to argue about) if they aren't talking and so therefore they get along better. Plus it relieves the awkwardness of making small talk.

I'm really glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing hun!

I adore you. Seriously.

Raw and painful...that's how a lot of the relationships on this show seem to be at the moment, don't you think? But I was definitely trying to do a precursor to what we saw at the end of Season Three. The phone calls and the craziness...it could be something borne out of a situation like this I think.

I'm really glad you took a chance with this and liked it! Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

Wow.

they’re best when they aren’t together, at least not trying to be
Way to sum up Jack and Kate's entire relationship.

I enjoyed this a lot. And not just because Jack was in a wet, white shirt.

I said not just.

Hee, thanks :)

And yeah, Jack in the white shirt, that was just...my own incentive. It makes for happy images while I write it ;)

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

I bookmarked this when it was first was posted, but I'm only getting to it now - sorry. You always do so well with the showing and not telling. You don't need to say out loud how this type of encounter becomes them individually and a couple. Excellent work!

I don't care when you got to it so much as that you got to it. That makes me happy. And I believe that showing leads the reader to get more involved with the story versus the alternative so that is definitely a compliment for me.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!
