I really like this. The back and forth format between the two of them works really well. I also like how the emotions kind of flow and change throughout the story, from the harsh beginning with anger of "that little bitch" to the definite melancholy and loss at the end, each of them kind of longing for the other. Very nicely done.

I try not to do things where I switch POV's so much but sometimes it's just necessary, you know. I'm glad you thought it worked well though.
