“You took me off this island once; why can’t you do it again?”

“Those were different times.” It’s becoming his answer for everything.

Loved that line. And that ending. Aw. Don't give up Alex!

I really enjoyed that Charlotte/Miles as well. Harsh. And I could definitely see it.

On the topic of C/M -- harsh is exactly the word I would use, since that's one of the words I'd use toward both of those characters.

I'm glad you liked these hun! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

These are two really intriguing entries. The first one is an interesting look at the power and promises that come with information. That has to be a part of Alex/Richard and you nailed it. I think most island relationships would be like the one Miles and Charlotte develop. There's not a lot of room for tenderness of the island. Great work!

I play a lot with power in relation to the Others, these two especially lately. As with Charlotte/Miles, it is the way most relationships would develop, out of need and something like longing.

I'm glad you liked these! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Loved the Charlotte/Miles. Well, I loved both of them, but especially the C/M. A very interesting dynamic, played out perfectly in the scene by the fire. Well done!

I kind of felt like writing them, which is weird because I don't really like either of them.

I'm glad you liked these! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

I liked the Alex/richard a lot, but I am really struck by the miles/charlotte... there is something so true in her anger, how she fights this with everything she can, but still holds on. awesome.

I kind of had a bit more fun with the Miles/Charlotte because it was different, at least pairing-wise, so it's nice to hear that you liked it.

I'm glad you liked these! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Both of these stories are so marvelously interesting. I love reading characters that don't get attention as often as the rest, like Alex and Richard, and the boaties too. You write them all so well.

Well I love writing characters that don't get a lot of attention so that works out well for us then ;)

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!
