oh, clever! crickets July 25 2008, 22:17:05 UTC
Speaking of knocking you off the edge of your seat! Holy mac & cheese that ending!

I love it. It's depressing alright, you weren't kidding about that, but man! Poor Claire! Poor Sawyer! Poor everyone!

And I have to say you've written this so well. Until that last bit, I had no idea where this was going. Even with the mention of how nobody notices her, but they do notice Sawyer. Very, very well-played. Clever and awesome!

Yeah, it seems like it's going nowhere. It reads like bad fic I guess, OOC, but the end is supposed to change that. I'm glad it did, and that it made sense but was still surprising.

I'm so relieved that you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Aw my heart hurts from reading this!
The whole time I was wondering why Sawyer was just completely ignoring her, cuz that made me especially sad.
But the ending, wow, that really is very clever!
It makes everything come together and really packs a punch. Plus it's beautifully written as always :)

I tried to keep the dialogue to a minimum because I really just wanted to make it look like he was ignoring her. It makes the end better I think.

I'm glad you liked this hun! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Why hello mind fuck. How are you today?

Definitely one of those fics that you go back and reread, just to take in all the little details again. This line: he has decent glasses now, real ones, but they don’t make her laugh; he doesn’t make her laugh anymore made my heart ache. Well done!

You are the one who will understand this: that What Sarah Said video? That's where this came from. So this is your fault I believe, for bringing it up.

But yeah, the end's a gamechanger isn't it?

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Okay, now that you mention it, I see the resemblance. Is that what that video is all about? I never really got it completely.

Well she's trying to talk to him but he can't hear her because she isn't really there. I think he's mourning her death but I don't think she really knows she's gone; either that or, when you take the words she's writing into consideration, she thinks that the reason he can't hear her is that he doesn't love her enough. The words at the end read: he loves me not at all.

The ending...well it changes things, which is exactly what I wanted. Kind of turns it on it's head.

I'm glad that you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing hun!

ghost!Claire, oh, that was unexpected!

I loved it. So sad, for Sawyer, Jack and even for Claire, but I loved that Sawyer and Jack were sort of friends.
