Well they have issues with two things: love and alcohol, as you said. So of course it was the bar. It's such a mainstay in the lives of those in Seattle Grace.

And really, if you're a doctor, working that many hours, I highly doubt you're paying a whole lot of attention to the media. She wouldn't know and if she did she wouldn't recognize him.
