This is great! Your idea is certainly a plausible reason for her being in the psych ward, and you've come up with an excellent reason for her to have given her boat to a stranger who couldn't afford a cup of coffee.

Was reading along, thinking, in the back of my head, that it's a sad view of Libby but also somehow quite sweet when the last line hit and gave me real goosebumps. Excellent work.

We never got a reason, even though we were told we would, and I've wanted to play with the why's and how's for so very long, but couldn't find a way. So this is basically a redone version of what I did last year, much better IMO.

I really enjoyed this. You did a great job capturing Libby at different stages of her complicated life. The descriptions of Jack and Sawyer and then Hurley were quite apt.

She’s young. She has her whole life to make mistakes. She has her whole life to fix them too.

You know Libby was a character I really thought much about until she died, sadly. Now I find her possibly interesting. So it was definitely fun to write her (this was my first time I believe, probably my last).

I would like to get a reason. I think we deserve a reason in fact, since it's something that they always promised to follow through on but never did. But I, personally, have wanted my own version of closure on the subject for awhile now and so there's this.

Ooh, cool! I like this idea. You know (because I was talking to you on the phone) that I kinda forgot about the whole "Libby was in a mental institution" thing, but this was a nice introduction back into THAT perticular mystery. I think it's very plausible, actually. Great work!
