thanks for this. part of why I am so pissed at KH for this whole Emmy bullshit is because I was just starting to get excited about Alex & Izzie again, it finally looked like they were going to work their way back to one another and I really don't want to lose that.. Theirs is a complicated relationship, heartbreaking in all its intricacies and I think you capture that really well.

She's going to screw it up, I just know it. I'm kind of...losing my will to like her at this point, which is quite sad.

As for them, they are very complicated and it makes good fic even if it's painful.

Wow, for trying to get back into the habit to write Greys, you outdid yourself! Even though I mostly only read Mer/Der fanfic, I so love your writing, I had to read this.. I must say it was so real, so in character. I'm all about the 2nd chances and this was so wonderfully written!

OMG that was so awesome and so Izzie.

I loved how you combined Alex/Izzie with tiny bits of Denny/Izzie.

They don’t, but he has issues with the word ‘please’, for different reasons than previously, and her red shirt sits in the back of her closet, six empty hangers away from that dress, and this is how they forget.

I can´t wait for the new season.
