Well I think you did a great job. I really like Charlotte. There are very few characters in lost that I will write, for some reason, and she's definitely one I hope to add to the list sometime this summer. Along with Daniel.

I don't like her either -- but my friend has talked me into writing her in an...interesting pairing, so I best get used to her.

She is...I don't think I really understand her very well and that's why the prospect of writing her terrifies me. She's detached and distant and yet I'm not sure that's really true or why she's like that. It's definitely interesting to write.

This is a really great look at Charlotte, babe, and Daniel too. I like how she see Daniel as this good person always trying to do the right thing, and by implication it seems like she doesn't see that goodness in herself somehow. That seems very true with how they've both behaved since coming to the island and how Daniel's been the more understanding and selfless of the pair. The last line is heartbreaking and perfect.

I really did end up writing Daniel in a way too, didn't I? It would figure, since I really do like him. I don't like her but I like their interaction, I think, and that's where this comes from. And you're exactly right -- how he is overshadows the goodness in her, it's kind of social living in a way, where she doesn't have to be the understanding one, because she is. In a way.

I like the Callie/Mark story. It's a nice sketch and it would be a good way for the show to go if the speculative spoilers are correct. (I can't comment on the Lost story because I've never seen it!)
