Nice scene:)

I find it interesting that Alex and Izzie pretty much are going to be the only ones left in that house.

Thanks! Although I'm not sure you get what I'm referring to if you haven't seen the episode all the way through, because this makes a lot more sense if you have.

I do too, which is why it's going to be very interesting. And why there is more fic coming from this scenario.

I'm glad you liked this!

Oh, I did see that scene. She's decided to build a house with Derek on his property.

I really do need to catch up on Greys. But I'm kinda addicted to watching CSI Miami on STC right now.

No, I mean the scene where she tells Dr. Wyatt that her mother slit her wrists in front of Meredith when she was nine and Meredith had to sit there, in a pool of her mother's blood and wait for her to pass out so she could call 911, because her mother didn't want her to.

I really loved it, especially how empowered Meredith is about leaving it all behind instead of hanging on to it. I am looking forward to your story :)

Oh I soo loved it.. That scene when we learn that Ellis did that in front of Meredith, I just cried. She has been through so much, it's amazing that she's who she is today and where she is today..

I can't wait to read more of your fic!!

Well the best thing you can do in that type of situation, at least I imagine, is move on. Holding on is all she's done and it's gotten her nowhere. So I wanted to write something where she's going forward instead of standing still.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Which is what I thought. But, and I may be wrong, I swear she said she was nine. And her mother tried to kill herself in that house. So I think it's their continuity, not mine.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading!

At this point if it hasn't been canonically disproven I say what the hell right ;) If the shoe fits...

The continuation -- which is about 3/4 finished -- is more of a bigger picture thing, this just fits in with that timeline, but I really hope you stick around for it :)

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading!
