I really like this. It's so tragically true. They love each other but there is so much pain involved. You captured it very well. I loved the changes in perspective. Especially Sayid's. Great job with characterization.

Exactly. I worried that people wouldn't get what I was trying to say: they love each other, a lot, but this is not the time, there's just too much history here. As for Sayid's perspective I'm glad you liked it, because I have the hardest time with him.

I'm thrilled you liked this! Thanks for reading!

I've actually been to an awkward wedding like this where the past lay over everything and not in a good way. I really enjoyed this, especially the photographer's outside perspective.

Ditto. Hence this. I write half my stuff based on my own experiences.

I'm glad you liked this! That perspective was actually the most fun to write. Thanks for reading!

Beautiful.

I love Jack/Kate because it's freaking SAD. They are both so damaged. It's not about Jack being some kind of gallant knight or anything out of a romance novel. It's just... sad. And beautiful.

I love it for that reason too. It's angsty and messed up and strangely perfect. And he isn't the white knight and that makes it real.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading!

Um...yours now please? Is it as damaging as mine? Because I like the angst (that's sad because I do love my ship ALOT).

I wanted to do something with five. And then I realized I did not have five. And thus the photographer was born. I love the outsiders, I always have, because there's so much you can say with them.

This wedding though -- it is meant to be part of a bigger picture. It's just...a turning part of sorts, I guess.

I'm really glad you liked this! Thanks for reading (I always am grateful when I see you read the Jack/Kate) and reviewing! It means a lot to me :)

wow, it hurts, to see it all and how everyone, even them, agree that they are not sailing towards a happy ending. you really captured the pain and I really liked to see it from all the POVs!

Well I think you would kind of know, somewhere. I think they do in Something Nice Back Home even. They're not going to get a happy ending, no one is.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading!
