Oh, I loved this! :) It would be entirely awkward and I can't see them seguing into, say, a threesome immediately (if ever) because omg the baggage they all have to sort out! I was thinking you might have it end up that Cass never knows that Sawyer is there so I was glad when she does find him, even though it makes it so uncomfortable for Kate. I do like that Kate, after initially feeling overwhelmed, realized that it all now makes some kind of sense to her. And I do love that Sawyer is back with Kate and he just seems to fit there. There's something about that that is very comforting.

ohhh! that is so, so interesting! the beginning where Kate walks around and thinks of their situation is really good, but then Cass shows up and it takes a whole new twist. I like how it suddenly dawns on Kate that the mystery man is Sawyer, and that standoff in the hallway (I loved that you left everything suggested, not all has to be explained in great details). very compelling fic!

The beginning is part of a seperate story but it worked as a lead-in, so it's kind of why it's more fleshed out than it normally would.
