Interesting take on their relationship. I think the way you wrote it is very true to their characters and where they are right now in the show. I loved reading all your Alex/Izzie stuff but now you're just spoiling me with all these new pairings! First Meredith/Derek, now Callie/Mark... you seem to know all my favorites. :D

I don't write just A/I, I'm actually mostly into femmeslash, but when I get stuck I write what I know. Now that I'm feeling experimental again the weird pairings will start, hence this. But I'm glad this is a pairing you like :)

Thanks for reading and reviewing!

This was an interesting take on a Mark/Callie relationship. Not the "Whoo Hoo! We found true love" fic, but works for me as well. I could honestly see this happening on the show given the emotional state of the characters. Very well done

True love...the idea kind of leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I'm not convinced it exists, and definitely not here and now with this show.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading!

That's very measured, realistic and well characterized. I could definitely see this happening in exactly this way. I like the matter-of-factness of the sex ("They’ve done this before; they know what not to do. It makes it a lot better than the last time if memory serves.") and I love their conversation; it's like they don't quite communicate at some level even though on another they really do. I also like your writing style and the line I quoted was just one example of parts that I thought were really elegantly written.

Thank you! I always love hearing that people thought my fic is realistic -- that's the whole point of fic after all. Mark and Callie's relationship really interests me. It seems to have come out of left field this season, but it's definitely one of the few things that I've actually enjoyed this season.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading!

I really liked how you had them come back together, even though they didn't exactly end up being a couple in the sense that most of us would like to see. But, as you ending hinted at, it could be a new beginning for the both of them...

I don't know if I could seem them being a couple yet...but I could definitely see something in the future, just not sure what yet.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading!
