both fic are really great! so different too

the Kate/Sun about coping (and wow, you surely made that feel so vivid) is wonderfully aching. Poor Sun, she lost so much.

and the other one about Ana's confusion is lighter, funny even. I love your Shannon, god I miss her =D

I can't just do the whole dark depressing thing. It drives me nuts. So yeah, had to balance them out.

I miss Shannon too. Hence why she keeps popping up in these fics.

I LOVE the Kate/Sun one. It's so beautiful. The talk of comfort and coping and defining (or not defining) what is what all seems completely believable and fascinating and sad.

The part after the happily ever after that the storybook’s fail to mention. Like when the prince dies and there’s no magic that will bring him back.

Loved that.

she still smells like the island, like the flowers that filled her garden, they’re still so lost

Really, really lovely fic. I very much enjoyed it.

And wow, that Ana/Shannon fic was not at all what I expected. Very cool. I almost didn't read it because I can't stand Ana, but she was easier to take (and quite amusing).

and somehow, even without knowing her, Ana had always pegged her as a bitchy blonde, if only to lessen the guilt, the remorse, in some sick way

Sick and funny and real. That was my favorite part. :)

That Kate/Sun is probably my personal favorite of what I've done of them and I've done a lot. It's really great to hear that you liked it too :)

As for the Ana/Shannon, I don't like Ana at all either but the prompt worked for it. And that scenario...well let's just say there's a sequel coming up ;)
