Good, so I was right! I was pretty much sure that you were a Desmond/Claire fan, so I figured I'd have at least one person interested.

This made me incredibly sad, especially the last bit with Charlie's death and the children's book and the boiling temperature and the leaky roof and... wow. It was beautiful and tragic and real. I'm so glad you wrote it. Thanks for sharing it with everyone!

Oh.... uh... *wipes nose* You're breaking my heart. So many people write Des/Claire as flowery sweetness and light, but what you've got here strikes me as so much more like the way it would actually be. Thank you, sweetie, for a very intelligent fic.

I couldn't do flowery sweetness if I tried with them. It's just not even plausible. Not at this point.

ow! I found this fic very very sad... so many details that shows how this is just a poor substitute for the read thing. and Aaron that is gone too? wow. poor Claire. the last section was really beautiful in that very hurty way.

This, to me, would be kind of a half-assed relationship, as you said a poor substitute. And yeah, one of these days I'll have to actually keep Aaron around, but I just...didn't here.
