Seriously, wow. The mood of foreboding captured so well in such a simple, believable moment--I LOVE the idea that Kate was there! That she saw it all & knew then...

I've had this idea for awhile, knowing that all of these people have past connections, so this was just a good opportunity to write this. And IMO, Jack and Sarah were totally wrong for each other.

What a great twist. I love Kate's comment about cars - they always seem to do her in - and her prediction about the wrong note. And another great title from you.

Cars do always mess up her life -- that occured to me when I was doing some research over on Lostpedia for this. Hence the comment.

Title is from the song "Boston White" by the Umbrellas. I couldn't get it out of my head, and it just fit

With all the people who have died around Kate, all the bad in her life, I guess you start thinking that way, in terms of expiration dates.

I wanted it to be subtle so it didn't, you know, hit you in the head. Like the time they had Kate's dad actually take out a picture of her in Sayid's flashback *shakes head*
