Characters/Pairings: Jack/Sawyer, Claire.

Author's Notes: This did not go as planned. It was supposed to be Jawyercita, but it didn't want to listen. So it's Jack/Sawyer, with a lot of Claire. Which is okay, because I have a Jawyercita plot bunny in mind.

It's interesting how a story can end up going in a direction you hadn't planned. I really enjoyed how distant everyone was but then you forced them to confront things by putting them in a crowded a space with little option for escape. (Was Sawyer on the road because Jack kicked him out on the way down to get Claire or was that a Lost coincidence?) When they got to their destination, little was solved but everything felt a bit more intimate. Well done!

I really hadn't planned everything from 9 on down. It was just spur of the moment stuff I did when we're talking about your fire alarms of all things, lol.

I like forcing people to confront feelings. I like when it's uncomfortable. Because that's life, unfortunately.

It was a coincedence, but I love that you thought of that. That could totally work :)

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Wow. This is really, really, really interesting. There's so much depth to everyone here, so much tension (almost awkwardness) between all of them, and I just love it. It makes for a very great read. :D Wonderful job.

Wow, thanks! I like dealing with the tension because there's just so much of it on the show, and so much in real life. It's really almost fascinating.

I'm glad you liked this! Thank you for taking the time to read and review, I really appreciate it!

Road Trip With the Bickerson Brothers!

Will you understand if I say that was a fun read? Just the thought of Claire insisting that an already pissy Jack stop and pick up former one night stand Sawyer is enough to make a grown girl squee - but throw in the bathroom argument and the subsequent hostility in the car... Holy cow! It's great!!

LOL.

You know I meant this to be dark. I meant it to be serious. It refused to be writing that way. So, yes, I totally understand that you thought it was a fun read. Towards the end it was fun to write. Especially the bickering in the car. I miss writing stuff like that, I really do. I haven't tried to do anything even remotely funny in a very long time.

I'm glad you liked this hun! Thanks so much for reading and reviewing, I appreciate it!

People tell me that a lot with my AUs. But the thing is where the story stops on here is where it stopped in my head. I just literally have nowhere to take it. Although, technically, it could act as a prequel to my Jawyercita fic but I didn't write it for that purpose.

I meant to do multiple POVs with this but I felt more comfortable with Claire and so I tried to have her essentially be the audience, you only know as much as her.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

This is definitely very interesting. I'm a big fan of AUs, and I'm a big fan of tense, taut fics where more is said through actions and looks than with words. This is one of those kinds of fics. I also love fics where a third party finally catches on to the fact that Jack and Sawyer are totally into each other, I don't know why. Just a little quirk o' mine. :)

I love reading the fics like that too, where someone catches on to the whole Jawyerness of it all. They make me giggle like a schoolgirl. But, believe it or not, that was so not supposed to happen here. My muse went off on it's own apparently, lol.

I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for reading and reviewing!
